GIS/Media Lab
Welcome
The GIS/Media Lab has a wide variety of resources to help UTPA students with their multimedia production needs for class related projects and presentations. Students can scan and edit pictures, slides, and negatives. Video can be captured, edited, and used to create multimedia enhanced PowerPoint presentations. The lab offers a variety of multimedia software to design artistic creations for class projects and presentations. The GIS/Media Lab also has ArcView GIS software and a large format plotter for printing class presentations.
The GIS/Media Lab does not provide consumable supplies. Students, faculty, and staff must provide their own photo paper, as well as CDs, DVDs (preferably DVD+R), USB Drives, external hard drives, video cassettes, etc. If you would like to contact us, please email a staff member or use the feedback tool on this page.
